Agents

Agents lists the machines paired with this workspace. Each one acts with the role of the member who paired it.

  • Pair an agent shows the command to run on the machine: slate login. It prints a code and opens this console's pairing page. Check that the code matches what the terminal printed, name the machine, and choose Pair this agent. A code works for ten minutes, once.
  • Status is online while the agent runs slate serve on its machine, connected to this workspace. An agent that only serves your AI client through slate mcp is not connected here, and that is fine: it still works on its machine.
  • Serves names the connections the agent registered: a call on any of them goes to this agent. In flight is how many calls it is running now, while it is connected.
  • Runs with is the model the agent's playbooks use, as the agent last said (slate model set gives it one; Runs says more). The key never leaves its machine.
  • Checked in is when the agent last asked for its licence, which it does once a day, whenever it is asked, and each time serve connects.
  • Revoke (the member who paired it, or an Owner) stops it. An agent running serve is told at once, deletes its token and stops; any other finds out at its next licence check, and runs no more tools. A member who leaves the workspace takes their agents with them.
